Sightseeing tour in the Public Nature protection Institution "National park "Bialowieza Forest"

Fascinating excursion, by comfortable buses on the National park included in the list of World heritage of mankind - to the forest area, largest in the Central Europe, which has remained almost untouched since the 13th century.

During excursion tourists have an opportunity to see the following natural and historical objects:

• "The head of a bison" – a natural outgrowth on a birch trunk in the form of the head of a bison. The road on which in World War I there passed the narrow-gage railroad;
• the biggest reservoir of National park – Lyadskoye's lake. In vicinities of this lake it is possible to see often the largest eagle of Europe – a sea eagle-belokhvosta, and also a rare species – a white heron;
• "An imperial path" – the pig-iron handrail cast in 1902 with the restored two-headed eagles continues to serve and today.
• across the territory of Bialowieza Forest there passes the western border of Republic of Belarus, during excursion there is an opportunity to see a small site of border;
• "The oak - the patriarch" – age more than 600 years, height is more than 30 m, and in the diameter about 2 m. Nearby there is "A pine - a giant", age more than 350 years.
• On the way it is possible to get acquainted with all variety of types of the woods of Belarus. The blossoming plants, the ripened fruits, timid animals and birds in a native habitat - all this can be seen during the different periods of year.
